Sunrise Mountain’s soccer star Angel Arreola has now brought in two college scholarships. The type of colleges still remain unknown according to Arreola.  Arreola is known around the Vegas valley for his special talent.

Arreola has been invited to several tours to discover college campuses.  With his senior season here, Arreola hopes to get his Division 1 offers sooner than later.

“I come from a very successful family,” claimed the senior, whose brother was a leader of the soccer team just two years ago. “My goal is to play Division 1 without a doubt.”

The senior is now ranked seventh in Southern Nevada in goals scored with 21. Although he doesn’t focus on scoring every goal for the team, Arreola wants to go to college right after high school.

“This year I haven’t been top three in scored goals, because I have only cared about contributing to the team rather than trying to stat pad,” said Arreola.

Arreola has scored 21 goals and has pitched in 14 assist which has summed up to 56 points for the Miners offense.
