A very spooky day is coming up. You may have notice skeletons dancing in store windows or pumpkins laying in front of yards and doors

What does this mean? Wonder no more, Halloween is here! The only night of the year where children dress up as whoever they want to be, and walk door to door, neighborhood to neighborhood, and get sweet treats.

Speaking of sweets, the most traditional one there is, Candy Corn! Orange, white, and yellow colors stacked on top of each other in a triangular shape to create a deliciously sweet treat. However, are teens too old for it?

First things first, do teens still like it? Let’s make this s bit more interesting and make it a competition!

Contestant #1: Saul Villifana, a junior, says yes, “It tastes good.” He doesn’t think teens are too old for candy corn.

Contestant #2: Kristiana Isabel, a freshmen says yes, “I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I do love candy.’ She doesn’t think teens are too old for candy. “Nope never.”

Contestant #3: Aerial Soto, a sophomore, also says yes, “It’s underrated.” He doesn’t think teens are too old for candy corn. He also said “Once we get older we’ll start appreciating candy corn.”

Contestant #4: Brad Calderon, a junior, has an interesting statement. “I haven’t really tried it, just a little.” However, he added, “Nah, I didn’t really like it.” Even though he doesn’t like it, he also doesn’t believe teens are too old for it.

Contestant #5: Kwanajia Moseley a senior says she doesn’t like candy corn. “It’s nasty.” She thinks teens are too old for it. “Yes, very childish.”

Contestant #6: Jason Howard, a freshman, also says yes. “Its sweet.” He doesn’t think teens are too old for the candy; in fact, he said, “no one’s really too old for anything to be honest.”

The overall score is 90 percent. Teens are not too old for candy corn!! Candy is one thing teens look forward to this Halloween. Who says it’s just for kids? If that’s true, then teens are a kid at heart.
