The Sunrise Mountain bowling team played their first game against Mojave Tuesday, losing all three games.

“I mean the first game we put our hearts out,” said senior Jose Manzo.

The bowlers tried so hard to get that win but ultimately ended up losing their first game against Mohave, but there are improvement the team can make to end up with a win next time.

“I mean I think we can get more strikes obviously and work more as a team,” said Manzo.

He is very happy that the team didn’t give up during any of the games even though they knew after a round that they weren’t doing too well.

“I mean the team didn’t quit though out the whole set,” said Manzo, “and we just tried our best to win the game.”

Manzo thinks his bowling experience is good since their coach, coach Teague encourages them to keep doing better.

“Coach Teague actually helped us a lot,” said Manzo, “and motivated us throughout the whole game and so far it been good.”

The team is ready for the next game to come with hope that they can do better on their second game of bowling.
