Miners Fall To Sierra Vista In Five Innings

The Miners ended up falling to Sierra Vista on Wednesday, May 1st, 13-1.

The first inning did not go as planned for the Miners they were not able to get a run in and Sierra Vista took advantage and scored five runs.

It did not look good it was already 5-0. The Miners were able to get in one run in the second inning, holding Sierra Vista to no runs, but it all changed in the third inning.

“We didn’t play our best we should have started off the game way better,” said junior Isaiah Gonzalez.

In the third the Miners gave up four runs and four more in the fourth. The game ended after five innings. The Miners take on Chaparral High School on Friday, May 3rd.
